What we collect

• Messages you send us. If you email, call or message us, we keep your name, your contact details and what you tell us, so we can answer you and handle any order you place with us.
• Orders. Your name, email, mobile number, delivery address (including barangay, city, province, region and postal code), optional delivery notes, the items you bought, and the amounts charged.
• Payment. The website does not take card numbers. You pay by GCash or bank transfer and may email us a screenshot. We record the payment channel and any reference number you or we note on the order.
• Shipping. Once an order ships, we store the courier name and tracking number.
• Accounts, if you create one. Your name, email, and a hashed password. We also store whether your email is verified. You can check out as a guest without an account.
• Login sessions. While you are signed in, we store a session token, and the IP address and browser details supplied with that session, so we can keep you logged in and sign you out.
• Cart. A cookie on your browser stores product ids and quantities for up to 30 days. It does not store your name or address.

Why we use it

• To take your order, reserve stock, collect payment, and arrange delivery.
• To email you about that order: confirmation and payment instructions, payment received, tracking, and cancellation.
• To let you create an account, reset your password, and see your past orders.
• To keep the site secure and to answer questions you send us.
• To keep records we need for accounting and tax.

We use order and account details because you asked us to sell and deliver goods to you, and because Philippine tax rules require us to keep sales records. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else receives it

• The courier that delivers your order receives your name, mobile number, and address so they can deliver the box.
• Our email provider sends the messages described above.
• Our website host stores the site and its database on a server we control.

We may also disclose information if a law, regulator, or court requires it.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account details stay until you ask us to delete the account, except for order records we still have to keep. Login sessions expire on their own. The cart cookie lasts 30 days or until you empty the cart. Messages you send us, including payment screenshots, stay in our mailbox or chat app with the rest of our correspondence.

Guest order links

If you check out as a guest, the link to your order includes a secret code. Anyone with that link can see the order. Do not forward it. Logged-in customers can also open their own orders from the account page.

Your rights

You may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is wrong;
• delete or block information we no longer need, where the law allows it;
• object to a use that is not required to complete your order or to meet a legal duty.

Email info@rooibosblends.com. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).

Security

Passwords are stored only as hashes. The site is served over HTTPS in production. Order pages for guests are hidden behind the secret link. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Changes

If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. The current version is always on this page.
